Here are a few reminders about the May 16, 2017 Special District Election:

  • Last day to register to vote is April 25, 2017
  • Ballots will be mailed out on April 26, 2017
  • Don't forget to sign your ballot!
  • Ballots must be received by 8 pm on Election Day to be counted, postmarks do not count.

Next year, the United States will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. To commemorate this milestone, the Deschutes County Elections Office is hosting an “I Voted” sticker contest for the 2026 elections. Students in grades K-12 are encouraged to design a sticker that celebrates our right to vote.

It's election day for the Deschutes County Special District Election. Voters have until 8 p.m. tonight to vote, sign and return their ballots at any Official Ballot Drop Box location or county elections office.

Unofficial Deschutes County election results can be viewed at this link. Results are unofficial until all ballot return deadlines have passed and every valid ballot has been counted. The next result update is expected before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
