City of Bend Old Surveys Circa 1940

This book was given to Deschutes County by the City of Bend and is currently filed in our Engineering vault. The majority of these documents are surveys, correspondence and calculation by William B. Gilbert and Thomas Smithson, who continued to operate the R. B. Gould Engineering Co. for a year or so after Gould’s death in January of 1940. Over half of the documents are from 1940 and 1941, with the rest of them ranging from 1942 to 1950. The book also contains surveys by Aubrey Perry and John Eaton.
