Submit PSW Timesheet

*Late timesheet, Per CBA policy: You'll receive confirmation of a ‘rejected’ timesheet. Remember to re-submit your timesheet before the next timesheet deadline.

PSW Criminal History Checks
Background check forms are exchanged via email with SignNOW Application technology.
If you do not have an email address, please create an email address and then request background check forms (SignNOW forms will not work with a shared email account).

New application:
We initiate communication with third-party entities that receive and process your background check form submissions. We then wait for them to authorize your approval to work. Typical processing time is up to five weeks. -
Credential renewal requests:
Even after you've submitted all renewal forms to us, State's automated system will continue to notify your eXPRS EVV, and email account, of 'expiring DD 84-803 credentials', you may ignore them.
PSW Navigation Services
PSW (Provider) navigator services at a glance:
- Applicants can receive up to 20 hours of provider navigator services.
- The goal is to guide and support applicants through the enrollment process and during the first six months of enrollment.
- Local offices make referrals to the program, or individuals can self-refer.
- Provider navigators will contact individuals and develop a plan based on what the individual needs.
- Provider navigators work closely with applicants by:
- Monitoring their enrollment progress
- Helping them complete enrollment paperwork, if needed, including the PPL paperwork
- Helping them problem solve issues that may arise during the enrollment process
- Ensuring they complete their background check timely
- Helping them register for orientation
- Providing skill building trainings like resume-building and interviewing
- Provider navigators support enrolled providers with:
- Using Carina to find work
- Understanding how to use Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
- Ensuring they complete core training within 120 days of initial enrollment
- How to track credential dates to ensure timely renewal
- Skill building trainings like time management, planning, computer literacy, and effective communication

"Carina is a user-friendly website where individuals and families who are looking for care can easily match with homecare providers that meet their needs. This is a new and optional tool for all Medicaid and Oregon Independence (OPI) consumers. Carina has partnered with the Oregon Department of Human Services, Oregon Home Care Commission, Carewell SEIU 503, and SEIU Local 503 to develop and effective online care matching tool that meets the needs of Medicaid and OPI consumers across Oregon."(a)

The Employer Resource Connection (ERC, formerly known as STEPS) program offers free resources for people who are approved to receive in-home services through Medicaid or Oregon Project Independence.
These resources are designed to promote successful working relationships between people with disabilities and the people they employ to provide in-home supports.
