Proposal Summary

The applicant requests approval of a Comprehensive Plan Amendment to change the designation of the subject property from Forest to Urban Reserve and a corresponding Zone Change to rezone the subject property from Forest Use 2 (F2) to Multiple-Use Agricultural (MUA). The total area subject to the request is 58 acres. 

The applicant states that the purpose of this request is to ultimately be brought into the City of Sisters Urban Growth Boundary so the applicant can develop a needed housing residential development that has 30% NET developed units that meet a definition of affordable housing to meet the City's future housing needs.

Proposal Status

The applications were submitted on December 24, 2024. Future public hearing dates are TBD but will be posted here as soon as they are known. Public notice will be mailed to property owners within 750 feet of the subject property and published in the Bend Bulletin.
